ON-FIELD CLINIC UPDATE:

We had another very successful clinic on Saturday May 1st at Andover HS. Thank you very much to Tom Clarke for leading another great learning experience for our new umpires. Tom's knowledge of umpiring is second to none in this area. 16 umpires participated: Tom Powers, Dave Grams, Bob Correale, Matthew Breeden, Dave Bamford, Brian Jankins, Tony Calderone, Dan Duffy, Alan Hooker, Mike Salach, Michael Eyssi, Tom McGrath, Paul Cowley, Patrick Noone, Scott Gray, Ray Bellerose. Scott Young, Ken Gabriel, and Luigi Fusco also assisted Tom and I on the field, and their help was very much appreciated, and extremely insightful for the umpires on hand. It was a long afternoon, but time well spent. Those that did not attend missed out on some quality instruction in live game situations, and will be required to attend next year.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO GREATER LAWRENCE TECHNICAL SCHOOL

FROM THE NORTH
Take Route 93 South to Exit 45 (River Road). At the top of the ramp, turn right. Proceed on River Road for approximately ¼ (one quarter) of a mile; at the third traffic light, turn left into the school driveway and parking lot area.

FROM THE SOUTH
Take Route 93 North to Exit 45 (River Road). At top of the ramp, turn left onto River Road. Proceed on River Road for approximately ¼ (one quarter) of a mile; at the second traffic light, turn left into the school driveway and parking lot area.

Additional direction notes:
From Route 495 (north or south), take Exit 40 to Route 93 North and follow directions above for "From the South."
From the east or west, take local roads to Route 93 and proceed.
